Position Overview
We're excited to announce a newly open position that combines the best aspects of inside sales, customer service, sales support, and appointment coordination. The Estimating Coordinator will serve as Mattsson Roofing's "First Impressions Manager" - the first live interaction potential customers have with our company.
This role is integral to our Estimating Team and sets the tone for what customers can expect from Mattsson Roofing while providing support to our field estimators. Mission Statement
The Estimating Coordinator at Mattsson Roofing is responsible for engaging and interacting with all incoming inquiries and prospective customers, assisting and supporting Mattsson's Estimators, and managing the workflow of the Mattsson Roofing Estimating Department.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Lead Management As our first point of contact, you'll monitor and respond to all inquiry sources including phones, online lead platforms, social media, website contacts, and email inquiries. You'll engage with potential customers to understand their needs, vet the quality of inquiries, and determine if they're a good fit for Mattsson Roofing's services. Your role involves managing the input of all inquiries into our CRM system (Acculynx) and maintaining accurate, detailed customer information throughout the lead management process.
Estimator Support & Coordination Working closely with our field estimators, you'll support them throughout the "Lead to Approved" process of a customer's journey. This includes debriefing estimators on newly assigned leads, creating and preparing estimates and scopes of work before and during initial appointments, managing photo and document files in our CRM system, and preparing comprehensive paperwork and job folders for estimators to bring to appointments. You'll also coordinate ground and drone photography as needed and participate in regular Estimating Department meetings to discuss strategy and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing CRM systems and eager to join and make their mark on a growing team and organization. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to learn roofing and construction knowledge to effectively support both customers and our estimating team.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn CRM software
- Customer service experience preferred

The Site Supervisor plays an essential role in overseeing daily operations on our worksites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Mattsson Roofing's high standards. This position is perfect for an experienced construction or roofing professional who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination You'll supervise and coordinate onsite workers and subcontractors, ensuring all team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and safety requirements. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining productivity, quality standards, and positive team morale throughout each project.
Problem Resolution Addressing and resolving onsite issues and emergencies quickly and effectively is essential to maintaining project timelines and customer satisfaction. Your problem-solving skills and construction expertise will be valuable assets in overcoming challenges that arise during roofing projects.
Customer Communication Maintaining clear, professional communication with homeowners before, during, and after each project ensures customer satisfaction and builds trust in the Mattsson Roofing brand. You'll serve as the primary onsite contact for customers, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in supervising construction or roofing projects
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
